Amazon Echo & Alexa for Indian Market 

“Dear Alexa, Thank you for being in our life”,  Really… !!
Yes, Amazon has recently launched 3 new best Smart home products in Indian Market, where the population is around 1.3 billion with different colours, people and their different accent. Ohh Yeah.. well now it depends on Alexa.

Now go for it, “Alexa show me your skill now.”
wait wait.. Lets understand first what Amazon launched..

Here are the 3 Products, has launched recently

  1. Amazon Echo Dot
  2. Amazon Echo
  3. Amazon Echo Plus

Amazon Echo Plus: It is hands- free speaker you control with your voice, with built-in smart home hub. It connects to the Alexa Voice Service to play music, answer questions, provide information, news, sports scores, weather, and more – instantly. All you have to do is ask or teach her. The more you use Echo Plus, the more Alexa Adapts to your speech patterns and vocabulary.

Home Automation With Alexa:
aha.. It is also possible with Alexa, you can configure your Alexa bar accordingly. It has built-in hub that makes connecting to compatible smart home devices easy. Just say “Alexa, discover my device”, and Alexa will automatically discover and setup compatible devices, without the need for additional hubs or apps. This simple setup works initially with ZigBee products from Philips Hue.

Jarvis from Iron Man:
Oh yeah.. JARVIS was cool concept has introduced in movie IRON MAN – Tony Stark. well Alexa is not exact Jarvis, but she will give small test of JARVIS. It will behave like JARVIS  but it takes few modifications at both end. Anyways.. that part will definitely take later on in our tutorial page.
Lets understand its Voice Control: Alexa has 2.5” downward-firing woofer and 0.8” tweeter powered by Dolby to deliver crisp highs, deep bass, and 360 audio to fill your room with music. Jus ask Alexa to play music from Amazon Prime music, Saavn or TuneIn. With Amazon Prime Music, you can search by your favourite artist, song, genre, album, mood, decade, or let Alexa pick the music for you.


Far-field voice recognition:
Alexa has an array of seven microphones that use beam-forming technology and enhanced noise cancellation. This allows Echo plus to hear you from across the room, even in noisy environments, or while playing music. When you want to use Alexa, Simple say the wake word “Alexa” and it responds instantly.

Alexa has different skills

Voila.. ! These skills are too cool.

It has thousands of skills with more added regularly. Skills add even more capabilities like ordering food from Tomato, requesting a ride from Ola, booking a carpenter from Urbanclap and many more..
What we have to understand, it is time to teach Alexa or learn yourself to operate Alexa device..
